Immunization and Travel Clinic Services
The Immunization and Travel Clinic at McKinley Health Center offers a wide variety of services designed to complement those offered by other McKinley units. We hope the following review explains what we offer to help you achieve and maintain good health during and after your stay on campus.
Unit Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
These services are available on a WALK-IN basis:

Immunizations – All immunizations are provided on a walk-in basis.

Tuberculosis (TB) screening is available to all students and is required for all incoming
International students. NO TB TESTING IS DONE ON THURSDAY.
The following services are available BY APPOINTMENT:

Allergy injections are given during a scheduled appointment at no additional cost. Patients must bring their own serum and instructions from their private physician. A 20-30 minute wait time after an injection is required to observe for adverse reactions. It may take up to one hour to process the initial appointment. Call 333-2702 to schedule your allergy injection appointments.

International travel consultations are done by appointment for University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students. Immunizations are recommended based on Centers for Disease Control guidelines. There is a fee for most vaccinations and medications. To schedule an appointment for a travel consult call 333-2715 at least one month prior to travel.
