About McKinley Health Center
McKinley Health Center serves the students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Health Service Fee, which is paid as part of your enrollment, provides the funds to prepay many of your health care needs. Some of the services provided by McKinley include:
- 24 hour Dial-A-Nurse service (333-2700) - lets you speak with a health care professional to coordinate your health care needs.
- Visits with your Primary Care Provider - You are automatically assigned a Primary Care Physician when you enroll at the University. The goal is for you to see the same provider while you attend the University. Having a provider who is familiar with you and your needs increases the quality of care you receive. You can change you primary care provider at any time. Other providers and nurse practitioners can see you in the event your primary care provider is unable to provide convenient access.
