MyMcKinley Portal

MyMcKinley is a secure patient portal that allows you to manage your healthcare at McKinley. You will use your NetID and password to access the portal. 

  • Schedule appointments to see a provider in most clinics
  • View or cancel appointments in all clinic
  • Refill or transfer prescriptions
  • Opt In for text messaging
  • Complete your medical history and required forms
  • Upload, view and print your immunization records
  • View secure messages and educational handouts

Changing Name & Pronouns on MyMcKinley Profile

  1. Enter the mymckinley.illinois.edu
  2. Go to the bottom of the page, on the left-hand side, and click on “My Profile”
  3. The preferred name is the first line that you can change; feel free to put the name that you would prefer staff at McKinley to use. This could be:
    1. Nickname you use more often
    2. Preferred name that follows gender identity of student
    3. American name preferred by International student
  4. If you wish to add your gender identity, please scroll down to the bottom of “My Profile”. There is a section called “Gender Identity,” where you can check all that applies.
  5. Under “Gender Identity,” there are two extra sections called “Pronouns” and “Sexual Orientation”. These are available for you to specify which ones you prefer to use. Within the rectangle in each section, you can click on it and check which one that you prefer McKinley staff to use.
  6. BE SURE TO CLICK THE BLUE “SAVE” BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO SAVE ALL CHANGES AND MAKE THEM VIEWABLE BY STAFF.
